UBS Tower
The ground work started for the building in the year 1991 and was completed in the year 2002. UBS group was in need of the single roof to accommodate the group of companies and hence the tower was designed to accommodate all of them. The building has a floor count of 50 floors and stands tall at a height of 651 feet.
Located in the vicinity of the famous Wacker Drive in Chicago it’s really a beautiful place to watch. The UBS has the unique honour of the tallest multi tenant tower constructed on the land of Chicago from 1992. The building is real a state of art design and was designed by the Lohan Associates. The main thing that catches eyes in this tower is the lobby of the building. The glass wall in the lobby was the first of its kinds and thus really gave a very different look to the place. The 40 feet wall was made of glass and thus gave a very different look to the ambiance of the place.
The building is used as office for many companies and has the rents of this place are very high, one of the highest per square foot rent in the metropolitan area in Chicago. The building also includes a two floor underground parking for the senior executives. The building has got numerous award in 2002 it was given the award of “Development of the Year” at the 14th Annual greater Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards.
